Can you keep a secret? Blue Rock Lake only an hour and a half from Melbourne eastern suburbs. Tranquil area only half hour out of Moe, make a day lunch at the Duck Inn and a relaxing swim

I never even knew this place existed and waht a great little place for fishing with the kids. It is obviously well known by the locals and for good reason.

Great facilities at zero cost. A unique place for families or friends to spend some time in or out of the water and have a relaxing day. Safe swimming and not overcrowded

The water authority won’t allow camping. What a shame. Beautiful waterways like this should be freely available to the public to enjoy. Seems a nice lake though.

I took a mate who had never visited Blue Rock Dam previously, and he couldn't stop talking about it. It is a wonderful underutilised facility. The view from the Dam wall is fabulous.
