Absolutely stunning! The falls are man-made and claim to be the tallest in Europe. The walk down from the parking area will take you to the top of the falls. The view there is gorgeous. If you are inclined, you can walk down a bit...More

We arrived about a 1/2 hour before the first release of the waters. It is something to see. We then hiked through most of the paths. Great views of the rushing waters. You will get wet, but we thought it was part of the fun....More

The waterfall is stunning and most unusual as it is controlled from a Roman Aquaduct and is only in full flow for a few hours at a time. Check the schedule so that you can see the start of the waterfall and see it develop...More

I really thought a trip to the falls was going to be a quick half day trip, but it was a great day of hikes and wandering and wonderment. Really lovely setting, and a good workout. I wish a nature guide had been available that...More

If you like waterfalls, this is one not to be missed. It is claimed to be the tallest man-made waterfall in Europe, being based on a river diverted by the Romans to drain some nearby marshland. Park at the top and walk down the many...More

Located a few kilometres from the town of Terni is this amazing waterfall. It is actually a hydro scheme so it is only actively running for a few hours each day. Check the website as the operating hours vary by month. At the parking area...More

Yes, it is a big park and you only pay when you want to do one of the trails up to the waterfall which would not be suitable for a bike as a lot of steps involved.
