How to enjoy Balesin? hhmmm so we stayed at a 20 bedroom villa, we have elevator, bar, huge pool, private beach front, gym, 2 videoke rooms, table tennis and a lot more to enjoy! We must have tried 5 restaurants… one that serves Paella Negra and Cochinillo, another is where we had wine while enjoying sunset, another is floating restaurant where we enjoyed seafoods and there is this little german restaurant and one main restaurant where we had Japanese food! So yeah we will visit again!

This is the nth time of being here in balesin. And all the experiences were great ❤️ but i also want to be honest that this last vacation was kinda disappointing when it comes to customer service. The waiting time for shuttle was too long. Other than that, everything if perfect 😊 there's always room for improvement right? So i believe the management will take actions about this 😊 the food will always be my faves ❤️ and costa del sol is always my fave villa ever 😍😂 keep it up balesin and God bless ❤️

- unorganized and no decent food in airport: the only food they offer is skyflakes, oreo, ice tea and coffee. disappointing. we were a big group (around 70 people). it was funny how the airport personnel asked my cousin to tell some of us to move seats. isn't it her job to ask the people and not ask my cousin to ask the people on her behalf?
- poor restaurant service: there was like 400+ people visiting at that time and they were so understaffed. we waited so long to even order. i had to search and call the waiter multiple times.
- poor customer service: we rented a van. the one they sent us broke down and they said no refunds. we had to like somewhat beg them pa para ma-entertain lang kami. the representative we talked to sobrang taray, even made our organizer cry. she didn't even want us talking to other staffs concerning our food reservations, activities and transportation. It would have been okay if she was responsive, but it took her days to just reply.
- poor maintenance: there were broken pool tiles near the pool edge. they didnt even bother cleaning that up. some of the pool tiles are not even the same color. some of the restos (ex. vietnamese) had cobwebs, the table cloths had holes in them and even the table piece had broken parts already just taped together. the game room in our villa (regency A) smell like mold and when we first went there, there were even glass stains on the tables. the flush in the toilet at the gameroom doesn't even work.
- below average food: you'll get average food for times 3 the price.
- overpriced: given all those ive mentioned above, they charge guests times 3 the normal price. The quality of the tissue papers is so poor that they break easily. our tissue papers at home is even better. i would expect like exceptional service for that price point. i mean 6k for a 200g steak then poor service at a dilapidated place? you must be kidding me.

if I could give 0 stars, I would. Literally not worth it. You could just go to batangas or boracay, its much cheaper and you'll get pretty much the same ocean view and water sports.

You can stay here if you are a member , a guest of the member, or if it is a corporate account, of which it is under one of the member. There are 7 villages, internationally themed. It is like staying at 7 different resorts. Just a tip though, Asian themed villas such as Filipino Balesin , Bali and Phuket are more spacious compared to others. For more exclusivity just get the Royal villas , but it could be really pricey. Culinary experience abound with many specialty restaurants. Another tip , they don’t offer room villa food service, so if desired just get take away burgers or something. Transactions are cashless , be ready with the credit cards. Photo shoots abound. Sunset chasing can be a challenge. 5 nights on separate occasions deprived me of that solar shot. Beaches are wonderful here, similar to Boracay. No wonder it is a secret lately discovered and introduced . Staff service are good , from transport, servers and bell personnel. My stay at Phuket was a reminder of Asian luxury. Prior to that stayed at their Philippine village.

Balesin Island Club is a very much talked about resort and so the bar was set very high before o set foot on its sands. To be honest, i was a bit skeptical because the stories seemed to good to be true…i was very pleased to be proven wrong. The service from the hangar all the way to the island was top notch. We were fortunate to visit with such great weather which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The resort was as beautiful as the photos depict , in fact maybe even more. The staff were accommodating and very efficient. Most of all, every morsel of food we had was exquisite. If only for that alone i would keep coming back. But there is so much to do on top of that. They have every possible activity available. Thank you so much Mr Jon Joven Uy for your outstanding job of making our experience here so wonderfully unforgettable! God bless you

Was able to celebrate my birthday in this wonderful island with my husband. Perfect place to unwind this summer. Food was incredibly delicious. Was able to try their Italian, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Greek, Spanish & Filipino cuisine. Everything was superb! Would love to be back soon!
Favorites: Paella negra, beef salpicado, grilled cheeseburger, oyster papaya🙏😉😋

It was my first time and will definitely would want to go back! Visited several summer destinations but my experience here is incomparable! If you are looking for a place where you can totally relax and enjoy the beach or nature , Balesin is the best place to go. Each village in Balesin will give you different experiences, from the authentic food, breath-taking views, the architectural designs and of course the great customer service! Special thanks to Jon Joven Uy for making our stay extra special! I can't wait to go back! Really fell in love with Balesin!

Balesin is an ambitious project and I am sure it is such a challenge to maintain such a sprawling, huge property. I think this is where the problem comes from when it comes to service and ammenities / accommodations.

Pros:
1. The food from the different villages are authentic! They have their own seafood, vegetable and fruit farms, so ingredients especially the seafood were very fresh!
2. Our flight was 8pm and they allowed 7pm check-out. Appreciate that because we were able to maximize the trip.
3. The service at the sports center was commendable. They were accommodating in helping us choose the right bikes.
4. Billiard and table tennis are free.
5. Nightly concerts are very much appreciated.

Cons:
1. We paid for more than 30,000 pesos per night. The hair dryer and jaccuzzi in our porch were broken.
2. Sometimes, our towels are not replaced.
3. We had to call housekeeping so that they will setup the extra bed. Perhaps they are undermanned.
4. Expect to spend around 1000 - 2000 pesos per head per meal.
5. No towels at the Balesin Village Sala. We waited for two hours. Nothing.

I understand the difficulties of maintaining such big property. However, for somebody who spent 30,000+ per night, you’d expect more.

Service is good, we just had problem when we arrived with a broken telecom, thus making it hard for us to communicate and hop from one place to another because we had to use our personal phones all the time and sometimes we cannot contact them(concierge) because of poor signal.. but all in all, from food, to awesome sceneries, to entertainment, everthing's awesome.
Also special thanks to Sir Jon joven Uy for being so accomodating, me and my sisters even my nephew enjoyed our stay here 😊
