There is a wide variety of animals here, kept in decent enclosures. There are a variety of themed walking trails, which makes for a nice peaceful stroll to see animals from around the world. Worth checking out.
Personally I think this is the best zoo in Australia.
The animals are in well thought out enclosures for their comfort and public viewing.
The environment for the public is fantastic because it’s like wandering through a rainforest etc...

We arrived here from Perth city by taking a ferry over from Elizabeth quay, the zoo was easily found and entry was quick and simple, there’s plenty of animals to see, staff were happy and chatted with us.
