Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a must see/hear experience for art & sound lovers. Steve Weis is extraordinary in all things art, sound and spirit. He takes you on a magical journey through his beautiful gardens, with enchanting story telling to explain the creation process of each individual, awe inspiring sculpture whilst hearing the ethereal sounds they make.

Looking for something to do on a 'spare' day visiting family in Gympie, I thought a drive through the hinterland would be fun and am so glad I did. If the front gate is open you can wander around the beaut gardens and see his imaginative large-scale sculptures. Many of the works are designed to create sound, they are just ingeniously constructed and visually and aesthetically pleasing. It's worth doing a little research on the net about Steve Weis' philosophy on iron, metal and sound. I've just followed this after my visit and am even more intrigued by these sound sculptures.

Steve is so patient showing us around . Just recently he has this collection of knives which are just superb. And you can also buy some.

Went to see this. You can see the general layout and major pieces from the road. We turned in to be met with a sign stating it was 10A$ each admission so decided not to go as this seemed a lot.

Don't miss this mystical, magical place. Steve is a genuine artist in so many ways. From the moment you pass the Banjo Gates you will be transformed. Steve will lead you on a journey through the many of his fantastic works. All have a story behind them and the stories are a part of the art. I recently brought some guests from Holland and the US for a visit they were enchanted.

This gallery seems to be part gallery and part someone's house.
There are also gardens housing beautiful creative pieces.
The art/ metalwork is like nothing I've ever seen.
It is so unusual, you have got to go!

A hugely enjoyable visit. Recommend going at night for the light show. Steve not only sculpts amazing creations, he plays them (on request).

We visited Steve's gallery as part of the Great Noosa walk event. Suggest visiting at night as well as during the day. Most of the sculptures have both a sound and light element to them. It is magical.

We love visiting this gallery and so do the kids. All of Steve's sculptures are amazing and play music. The kids can interact with them and if Steve is around he will tell you a yarn or two. Amazing place and well worth the visit. Walking distance from the Kin Kin pub and general store.
