It is a beautiful place. I was recommended visiting here by Marsis tour, a local tourism agency, but if you need such services there are countless many others there. They take you to Huser in Volkswagen Crafter or similar vehicles. Didn't see any smaller vehicles used by agencies. While this is a viable and easy way, I think that it is best if you go there with your own vehicle (preferably 4x4 but not a must), but you need to be a skilled driver to navigate the narrow mountain roads. It lies after Ayder, you can ask the locals in Ayder about the state of the roads. If you visit Ayder, why don't spend some more time to reach such a beautiful place? Ayder is beautiful but it is too-developed, not as natural as Avusor or Huser. You also pass near Avusor on the road as well, which is another beautiful place. Avusor also has a small motel-like place "simge pansion" but I didn't stay there, just passed in front of it, seemed busy. Camping is also possible in both Avusor and Huser, I didn't do it but saw several campers around as I was travelling back to the city after sunset. Huser is most beautiful during sunset. After sunset it gets dark (very dark) immediately and cars form a line back to Ayder, slowly travelling in the dark. Again, being a skilled driver is important if you are using your own car. Btw, if you have fear of heights the roads most probably will scare you, they look into a magnificent valley which gets filled with clouds as the evening approaches. If you are travelling somewhere in Rize, don't miss the sunset in Huser, for if God was a painter, this would be one of his masterpieces. Thanks for reading.
