Very impressive building and a most interesting place to visit. We had the place totally to ourselves so didn't have the hustle and bustle like the colosseum that we visited the previous week. A worthwhile place and a hidden gem.

We discovered this on Google Maps by accident, and glad we did. 2nd in size to Rome, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves for most of the morning, maybe only two or three other couples on the site. Entry was only £2.50...More

So sorry to see how badly cared is the place. Beautiful Arena, well preserved, with no explanation at all. Worth a visit.

Easy to get blase if you have been to Pozzuoli or Pompeii, let alone the Colosseum, prior to visiting this one. While it has lost much of the superstructure the below the stage element is magnificent. Very quiet and well worth a visit. The ticket...More

For decades the Anfiteatro Capuano has been left to vandals and stray animals. Most of his treasures have been stolen. However, recent works inside and outside the ruins have made this an enjoyable place again. Definitely worth a stop, when vising, Mitreo, Museo Campano, Reggia...More

I visited the Colosseum in Rome first and then this. This amphitheater was great because while there were other people visiting it did not seem crowded at all. We saw several families doing photo shoots here. What a great back drop!

Good morning. I’m sorry I won’t be a good help for you, because I didn’t search for an English guide at the time. But I’m sure you are right. They must have them in stock for the summer season.
