Popped in here on the way back to Cairns and was surprised to see the amount and quality of equipment on display in such a small building and community. Lots of war time, rail and other memorabilia and all in really surprisingly good condition. Wish...More

From the road this museum looks quite small but on entering the building it houses quite a variation of photos and memorabilia. Well worth a visit. Gold coin donation is all that is required.

Stopped in by on a day out. Full of historical info and so much more. Lady that was there was very informative and friendly. Visit was free but you can leave a donation. Worth a stop if your passing through.

Well worth the stop learn all about the local history early days timber cutters/saw mills building tinnaro dam /rocky creek war time hospitals /location of WW 11 army camps in the area and more.
