let's face it, if you're in eastern crete you need to go here - you've read the guides which tell you the same, so why are you still reading. p.s. make sure you get there before about 11/11:30

Having heard so much about this beach I was really disappointed when I finally arrived... it looked a bit tatty ... and there are other beaches on Crete that are much better than Vai.

Had a blast in Vaï. The view was wonderful, you can climb and enjoy a scenic view of the bay. The beach was clean and free.
