Doi Chang literally means Elephant Mountain. Do not be mistaken as there is a Doi Chaang, spelled with a double 'a' and is not the mountain's name. The village of mostly the Akha tribe is called Baan Doi Chang. This is the best coffee growing...More

We had a fascinating tour of this family run business in the hill country of the golden triangle. Learnt all about how coffee is made and drank the outstanding results. Also had lovely meal in restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Growing coffee along the hillside grows along the canyon. The canyon has a coffee tree, even in summer, it is foggy and cool.
