Visited with our U3A group and had a guided tour of the house. It was a fascinating and interesting house. The gardens were beautiful and the toy museum amazing.well worth a visit.

I only visited the gardens. I did not see a single hand rail. I do not know about the house itself.

The grounds are quite flat - eg the Knot Garden - and the Great Hall is accessible after a few steps up. Upstairs apartments would not be good for someone with mobility problems.
