This was by far one of my favorite experiences in Ireland. I can't recommend it enough. Don't just get dropped off at the Cliffs of Moher, hike there! I'm so glad I happened upon this treasure before I grabbed a bus to the cliffs.

Starting at LIscannor and ending in Doolin this is a must do walk for anyone who loves walking in beautiful scenic countryside and is definitely the best way to view the Cliffs of Moher and take in all the fabulous draw dropping views along this...More

We parked in Doolin and got the shuttle bus to Hags head near Liscannor. We walked the 19km along the cliff edge back to Doolin. The day was dry and the views stunning. We rolled into Doolin 4 hours later and murdered a few pints...More

Such a great scenery. Well worth doing the entire route. Especially that is not very busy (even on bank holiday) so you can enjoy the cliff and ocean views in privacy. Practical things....The route takes over two hours. Make sure you start at Doolin Fisher...More

Sorry just saw this. I would think you would be open it is separate from the visitor center. Just not sure if there will be tours that day

TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR WALKING EXPERIENCE you can go to McDermotts pub on main St in Doolin at 10am and be given lots of local insight and knowledge about not only the cliffs but that part of the clare coastline as well... More
