So surprising different. Excelent to look at. Keep in mind, that it will take you an about 30 minutes walk to get there and all the way back again. But this piece of architecture is a wonderful experience.

A good walk down by the river to visit this cottage, or you could drive to it. Plenty of history to this place. Would love to see it fully restored(i.e paint removed from flooring and around doors and stair case. Loved the on-suite in the...More

The lady that gave the tour was well informed. Only bummer part was no inside photos. But has a lot of history and has been restored to its original self. Lovely walk getting there through what I call fairy forest. A must see. Especially the...More

We took the 25 minute walk along the river to reach Swiss Cottage. (More of a summerhouse) You enter it from the servants quarter along a tunnel/passage in the basement. The cottage has only four rooms for you to see and a spiral staircase to...More

We visited during heritage week and admission was free. The cottage looks like something out of a fairytale and has been lovingly restored. I would recommend a visit and the walk from cahir castle to the cottage is lovely on a sunny day
