Popped in here briefly after a walking tour of Cobh. The stained glass is very impressive. The organ was being refurbished during our visit.

Cobh is a lovely town to walk around and the cathedral is this town’s crown jewel. Came to the cathedral in order to get a picture of it with the lovely painted houses nearby. Was not disappointed.

Cobh Cathedral is a newer cathedral but is no less grand than many of Europe's great houses of worship. Perched on a ledge overlooking the city of Cobh and the famous waterfront and harbor, the Cathedral features Gaelic and seafaring influences. The tour is self-guided...More

This is a beautiful cathedral - inside and out! When we arrived on the Sunday morning there was a funeral in progress which was unusual to see on a Sunday. Apparently it’s common in recent years due to demand. After a tour of Cobh itself...More

This is a beautiful church full of history. It is moving to think this may have been the last church your ancestor saw when leaving Ireland.

We stopped in here on a Sunday. Our cruise ship stopped and we walked up a gigantic hill to attend the 1030 Mass. This is an old and stately cathedral. The altar is beautiful and the congregation was welcoming... we were blessed to be here.

There is a local historian who gives walking tours around cobh but im not sure if they take you inside the church itself but im sure they would answer any questions you may have.
