Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited Malahide Beach today after our visit to Malahide Castle. It is a lovely beach with a large car park as well as lots of on street parking. There are lifeguards there during the summer months. Public toilets near the car park too.
The ice cream van is in the car park too, so the children are well happy.
It’s a great spot on a nice day.

Nice beach for a stroll, especially along the grassy verge which is raised and gives nice views. Later you have a clifftop path all the way to Portmarnock which is a gorgeous 40 or so minute walk.
Great views of Lambay, Donabate and later Ireland's Eye and Howth.
However, if it's just a beach you are after Portmarnock is far, far nicer.

I live only 10 minutes away from Malahide beach and it’s a lovely place! Nice for picnics and playing with kids on the sand! Plenty of parking as there is a big car park.

Very disappointed with the beach because the town side of the estuary was covered with seaweed. The main problem was lack of easy access to the beach . The main access point from the main road went past a shack occupied by a homeless person . Elsewhere one could only jump down from a green grassy area, not easy! Also access to this green area involved climbing up on to a wall. The green area itself had pleasant views but not a single seat to enjoy the view.

Three of us spent some time walking along the Strand to the Marina and town. The views across the bay are wide ranging and facilities are available nearby in the town. Malahide has a lot to offer for visitors and is an attractive seaside town.

This is a great place for a stroll and not to far from Dublin Airport - a place we go to on the way to the airport. The beach is just perfect for a stroll, some great wildlife in the area. The marina and the sand dunes are lovely with a great scenic views out to sea. The ITV drama Innocent was filmed here and it looked so very impressive on tv. I heard people asking where it was filmed as it it looked such a stunning location .

Out of the busy town is very nice to spend a day or half walk on the beach !
There is parking along the street and the beach is easy reachable from the village as well.

After visiting Malahide castle, we walk into the quaint town of Malahide. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we decided to pick up some food in a local grocery store and pic nic along the beach. The water was dappled with little sail boats, and the beach was beautiful! We enjoyed a light lunch and then took in some sun before heading back to Dublin.

Some nice autumnal walks along the beach. Seems very clean, no issues with litter. Beach is sandy, be careful not get get isolated on the remoter parts of the beach when the tide comes in, easy to do. As it was November needless to say you need to wrap up warm from the wind. But great for blowing the cobwebs away. There are some small sand dunes that you can sit behind to get out of the wind and watch the birds.

It was a pretty breezy day but there was plenty of people on the beach, a good place for a walk and plenty going on. Boats and people actually swimming in it.
