Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited beaverstown golf club last Sunday as part of a family christening party..so we were in the function room area behind the bar. It was a nice, well set out area with a beautiful view from the balcony. We were served really nice finger foods..very freshly cooked, hot and plenty per person. Staff were nice and friendly too.

We had a lovely day. Brian in the pro shop was fantastic and sorted us out with clubs and a teetime. The course is a great park land course with very true greens. A gem.

Great food in the bar here, especially the fresh chips which deserve an award for the best chips in Dublin, possibly even Ireland - amazing!

Have not played here for a good while but was not surprised to find the course was as good as I remembered it. Well maintained as we we played around and through the old orchard course were we could help ourselves to as many apples as we wanted. The club house was as lovely as always and we enjoyed our lunch too. Will be back again.

Beaverstown Golf Club is 1 of 5 Courses on the Donabate Peninsula, located in the region of Fingal, Dublin. Beaverstown, Donabate, The Island, Balcarrick and Corballis are the 5 courses.
Beaverstown Golf Club boasts a tremendous stretch of holes plotted against the back drop of the Donabate and the Rogerstown Estuary.
18 holes of differing lengths, Index, hardness, topography and test-a-ability gives the best track for a Pro Golfer to an intermediate to a complete beginner.
Course 1-18: 1 (Par 4), 2 (Par 4), 3 (Par 3), 4 (Par 4), 5 (Par 5), 6 (Par 4), 7 (Par 3), 8 (Par 4), 9 (Par 5), 10 (Par 4), 11 (Par 3), 12 (Par 4), 13 (Par 5), 14 (Par 4), 15 (Par 5), 16 (Par 4), 17 (Par 3), 18 (Par 4).
Every hole is different and the elements come into play on each hole, whether it be a North, South, east or westerly wind, you will be challenged in skill, placement, and putting on this course. It is picturesque, and beautiful and can be menacing all at the same time, as there are orchards of apple trees that can catch out even the most skilled golfer. Bunkers are Deep, and the Greens are fast and deceitful. Most notable holes to me would be the 4th Par 4, low index as it takes in the majesty of the estuary beside it, the 14th, Par 4 dogleg over a drain to an elevated two tier green, and then the 18th Index 1, Par 4 to a very tight landing area of a green with undulations. Greens are perfect 50 weeks of the year as the other 2 they are pole forked for drainage. All the Greens and Fairways and Tee boxes are Sand and Boulder clay based as the land is extremely fertile.
Gavin Byrne (PGA Professional) is the current Club Pro and is always on hand to handle any queries you may have or requirement of lessons.
Facilities include Buggy's, Trolleys, Electric Trolleys and Carts. Chipping, and Golf Net practice ground from Pitching +50m out, Bunker practice and also chipping green. A practice Net is available for swing motion and Driving practice, and Putting is available on the putting green. Full Pro shop, Restaurant and Bar. Mens/Ladies Locker rooms have lovely showers and facilities for Refreshing up or the 19th Hole, and Noel or Mick will be on hand to serve you a perfect Pint of Guinness after a good round or a bad round. They also are experienced in the course and give you some pointers for your next round, and believe me, you will be back. A little local knowledge never hurt anybody.
The setting is comfortable, the course is amazing and challenging, the Clubhouse is like home and the pints are delicious, what more could a golfer want and need!
