Course appears very short on the card, but even low handicappers struggling to score well here. Tight fairways and quick greens gives very good test of your golfing skills. I would recommend to play Yellow/ blue course, starting on yellow is slightly different lay out than the other two 9's with 3 par 5s and 3 pas3s and being more opened, where wind often blows there, finishing on great par 5 with approach over the water and with the view on teh impressive clubhouse.

Restaurant under new management .... Huge improvement... The New Chef was at Chez Sara in Malahide, Great view over the course... We hold the fortnightly meeting for the Donabate Photographic group there. The tennis club is a great addition to the Golf Club.. The best Golf Club in Donabate...

Communion Day 😊
Lovely location, scenery-a-plenty. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was fabulous. Lots of children in our party and they were all treated as guests of honour.
Would highly recommend this beautiful spot for any family function

A course on the Pennisula since 1925, this course should be on all boxes to be ticked if you are a golfer.
Yellow nine is nice and even an accommondates the complete golfer, (with 3 Par3, 3 Par 4s and 3 Par 5), Red nine is more for the long hitter, (with 1 Par 3, 1 Par 5, and 7 Par 4s), and the Blue nine is for the player that can place it, as a commanding position off the tee will set you up nicely for the second shot. (2 Par 5, 2 Par 3 and 5 Par 4). The best 18 holes are actually a combination of the old and new course and incorporate all nines. If i was to play a round, i would recommend the Red and Blue. Its challenging, and can be forgiving too, however there are some tight greens that will love you or hate in a matter of a break. The 9th on the Red (old 4th hole) is a great finishing hole. Expansive par 4 dogleg that you have to be accurate and long off the tee to be in the chance of taking a short iron to the green, three tier and all sloping down, however if you want to have your TINCUP finish and really challenge yourself, Play off the whites, and be sure to ring ahead and mention you wish to play the Blue nine. 9th Hole incorporates, a mid 400metre Par 5 (close to 500M), long hole, with a three tier elevated green and a huge lake infront and also OOB at the back. Middle of the Fairway 200+ out, test yourself and go for the Roy McAvoy! just be certain to shout FORE as the putting green is behind the Green.
Good Course, Good Value for money.
the Bar and Restaurant Staff are excellent, as are those in the Proshop.

With 27 holes to play this course gives you plenty of variety. The tight fairways need control of the tee and shots in too the many raised greens can be punished by playing a loose shot. My personal favourite is the yellow but the blue comes a close second.

Superb 27 hole golf complex. Each of the 9 hole layouts has challenging but fair holes. Not a long course, but you use every club in the bag!

Great 27 hole layout. Good test of golf, with some strong par4's. Well worth giving this course a road test.
