We were lucky enough to get into the Spa Gardens on Remembrance Sunday. On past visits, it's been a lovely place to relax and walk around in the Yorkshire air!

The Victorian Gardens are changing colour, as this Military City remembers 100 years since the ending of WW1. There were big training camps here during the conflict and the people of Ripon remember them with pride.

The really lovely, well laid out Spa Gardens nestles between the imposing Ripon Spa Hotel and the Ripon Spa Baths (Royal opening as a Spa in 1905 with large swimming pool addition in 1936). Across the road are 3 tennis courts in Spa Park. Spa...More

These gardens are well-tended and offer a beautiful respite from the hum of city life. Spend an hour or two wandering the grounds to regain some inner peace.

Beautifully kept gardens, a riot of colour with plenty of seats to just sit and relax. Lovely cafe and bandstand too

Lovely , well kept park .sunday bands at the bandstand . Beautiful planted out beds of flowers.well worth a visit when in Ripon , also has a cafe in the park .

This is a lovely unspoilt victorian park and has been very well maintained. I do think though it is high time the cafe had a revamp, sold better quality hot drinks and refrained from selling cakes that are tasteless and super dry... this cafe could...More

You can park just along on Church Lane by St Wilfrids Primary free of charge or Booths (supermarket) car park for up to 3 hours (£1.40) but you do get a voucher to redeem up to £1 back if you spend £5 or more in Booths!
