If you are in the Peak District on a Monday this is the place to be. Fresh cooked food & fabulous real ales. This is a gem if you visit Bakewell, forget the rest go straight for the best.

We went in for a drink early evening. The bar area was very nice, with a carpeted part that did not allow dogs. (HURRAH) because everywhere you went, even to eat there were dogs. They only serve lunches, so its drinks only after that

Very friendly bar. Food free except on Monday (market day) lunchtimes. Great place for a really good pint, a glass of wine and a natter!
