About
Bradford-on-Avon Wharf was once the busiest wharf on the Kennet & Avon Canal. Today, it’s a great place to spot historic canal features.

The wharf is right next to the lock at Bradford-on-Avon and affords a great view of the adventures and misadventures of the boats passing through.

We watched several long boats go through the lock. Have a nice cuppa coffee in the garden at the café just adjacent. Nice way to spend an afternoon.
