This is worth a look if you are in Bradford-on-Avon. I think its from the Saxon era. The roof of this barn, has some splendid woodwork, very impressive. You can grab a ice cream, and look around the area, because there are work shops to...More
5 minutes from the centre of Bradford on Avon you will find this ancient building close to the Kennet and Avon canal.Interesting information is displayed about its age and history.Craft shops and cafes close by,along with the canal make for a very pleasant afternoon.
Saw this on our river/canal walk. So glad we made the detour to visit it. It’s beautifully preserved and a real asset to this wonderful small town, there’s a little coffee stop in the grounds and a lovely children’s playground too. Well worth a visit.
The barn is interesting and very old. It is surrounded by equally old historical buildings that are mostly artist shops and galleries. And a good tea/coffee cafe. On a sunny day you can sit outside this. There was a pleasant retro throw back to the...More
Went to the canal to say goodbye to parents. Beautiful setting pleasant walk along canal and to the Tithe barn. The barn is awesome I it’s plainness, craft shop yielded some hidden gems and the coffee shop quaint warm cozy worth going to. Brilliant day

The barn is the main place of interest in this lovely area by the bank of the river Avon. It’s well kept and just a short walk from the town centre. The station car park is very handy for it. When it’s a fine day...More
Did not expect such a large and ornate building, but it does show the wealth of the monasteries before the dissolution. Some unique workshops to view, worth having a good look round. Parking is not good so go to the long stay near the canal...More
Wonderful homemade cakes, quiche, and fab salads. They use Yorkshire tea bags, so great pot of tea. I loved the mango and passion fruit cake. Lots of gluten free options... Not a gluten free chocolate brownie in site! Thank goodness. We will be back again....More

Hello. Yes, as said by the previous person, the Tithe Barn is on the same side of town and only a short walk from the railway station. Just leave the station, turn left through the car park, continue to the very end where you will see a footpath. Take the left under the railway bridge and continue on this path through Barton Farm. The Tithe Barn is near the canal.
