We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely beach. But main point of this is to point out Tripadvisor has this 50 miles south of where it actually is. It is on the North Antrim coast, just to the east of Portrush. Lisburn is a big town/suburb of Belfast/City (will leave others to fight over which) that is over an hour away from here. They are both in County Antrim, but at pretty much opposite ends of it.

Beautiful white sand beach. Free car park. Very quiet with few facilities. Not the most interesting views, but good for walking on the beach.

This beach is well worth a visit, the water is crystal clear. The sand soft and clean. The water is cold so a wetsuit would be a good investment 🤣

Dogs ruined this beach, as owners were not following the rules while it was written there that dogs should be on lead, but dogs were moving freely, they were quite big and were fouling the place, nobody was there to make them follow the rules.

This is a lovely beach, clean, with a long stretch of sand with some impressive dunes for the smallies to explore. Well worth a visit, if going Id recommend heading early as the car parks get full pretty quickly from what we could see.

This is a beach between Ballycastle and Portrush; not clear why Trip Adviser lists it under Lisburn, more than 50 miles away. It is a wide expanse of sand, one of the best around. Normally clean and tidy with plenty of space to walk about (or run if one is that way inclined).

I love the White Rocks for a walk at any time of the year. The north facing beach receives the full fury of the North Atlantic allowing the sea to carve elaborate shapes in the rocks.
Over the years it has been recognised that sea bathing here carries a few risks as several people have drowned by getting into difficulties when caught in a rip tide.

We go to this beach all year round for a short walk and doggy exercise session. Usually we go early in the morning and there's not too many about but in the summer, especially school holidays and weekends it can be busy.

Parking is great as long as its not busy. Theres toilets and showers are open in the summer.

The path down to the beach can suffer from erosion and can occasionally be a bit more difficult.

It's a full on 'Blue Flag' beach and the council do keep it well, you see a tractor raking the sand and gathering litter occasionally. RNLI provide good lifesaving services on sections of the beach over the summer.

You can walk all the way to the east strand beach in Portrush too.

During the summer months there are part of the beach where dogs aren't allowed.
