We had a lovely visit and walk at this national trust site. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is also a lovely tea room near the mill.

Lovely National Trust site, nestled on the River Ouse - nice little cafe off to one side with the usual array of goodies. Free to wander around the grounds and there are a good few walks around to St Ives, the Hemingfords and Huntingdon. Houghton/Wyton...More

Expected just a fully operating mill but found a little treasure. Right on the river, shallow water, children paddling, kayaking, playing ,picnicing and throughly enjoying themselves Weather being good helped but we will definitely revisit

we stayed over the weekend of the August Bank Holiday, nice clean campsite, working mill nearby, good staff, close to St Ives, punting and boating available and 3 pubs and a few tearooms within walking distance. We'll be back..
