Thos is a really wonderful small museum with friendly enthusiastic staff who know their subject well.
It's not very large so won't take up too much of your time perfect for a chance to stop on a journey and stretch your legs.
This is a great little museum, full of interesting items relating to Oliver Cromwell, his family and their times in the area. The staff are very knowledgeable and enjoy passing on this knowledge to anyone that is interested
It is on your doorstep but have you made the effort to pop inside? You should. Expert team happy to let visitors know the history irrespective of level of knowledge. My 6 year old loved it (and the pizza express afterwards obviously).

Mr & Mrs L, I'm sorry for taking a while to reply to your query. I'm sorry but dogs aren't allowed in the museum. The museum is quite small, so you would be able to have a quick look round independently, whilst one of you looks after the dog outside. There is a park area, 2 minutes walk away from the museum which you may like to make use of too. If there's anything else we can help with please do let me know, Many thanks, The Cromwell Museum
