This is a smaller lake than nearby lake Comabbio (both are between Lakes Maggiore and Varese) and this is the best for swimming if you can find an access point. There's a park at Travedona which borders the lake but access to the lake is...More

This is one of the few lakes in and around Lake Maggiore that I would swim in. Served by an underground stream this is a quite shallow lake, with a number of bars where you can sunbathe and swim. A very pleasant experience.
