My review on this pub is not entirely positive I'm afraid having made a visit one lunchtime in May 2012. My wife and I travelled from Buckinghamshire to Ruabon to sample their fare, inspired by the glowing reports in the CAMRA press, but on arrival...More

Great atmosphere generated by Matt, Gill and Peter and their staff. Constantly changing selection of proper beers on offer. Thai buffet yesterday was excellent quality and value. If you're anywhere near pop in and experience what a local pub should be like.

Went here on a cool spring day when I had deliberately allowed a bit of extra time before my train. Beer was good including the one brewed on site.

Love this pub, best in Ruabon. I don't drink anywhere else!! Try the hooley Dooley red wine- it's beautiful!

The Bridge End is a truly brilliant, traditional pub. The annual beer festival is a great event, and the selection of beers this year was second to none. Having been to quite a few festivals, the beers and atmosphere at the Bridge End was one...More

This is a decent pub just a few minutes walk from Ruabon train station with bags of character. It has a good range of beers, and a beer festival every year over the August Bank Holiday. I go to several beer festivals each year and...More

Fantastic array of craft beers to try at a very reasonable price. Great atmosphere. Get there on friday or Saturday to avoid disappointment as the popular beers run out!
