The Museum Gift Shop has an assortment of quality products for any special occasion. Kidz HQ is an interactive area for the children to enjoy; with puzzles, dress up and so much more. Our Cafe offers an array of tempting morsels to satisfy your taste buds.The National Army Museum open from 9.00am - 4.30pm seven days a week (with the exception of Christmas Day when the Museum is closed). Discover New Zealand's military history, engage with real life soldiers' stories and reflect on how conflict has shaped our nation.

Experienced a great informative tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us the right amount of info without being boring. Would definitely recommend this, there is so much to see. There is a great cafe serving yummy food and very good coffee.

If you are interested in the history of NZ then spending a few hours here is well worth it. $15 to get in but then you are transformed into a timeline of NZ military history. Most conflicts are covered in a genuine and unbiased way....More
