Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a fantastic walk from the road side to the Coast, the track is marked but a good level of fitness is required, it takes around 3 hours return trip. Opportunity to see Chatham Island birdlife and endemic plants.
This is a private walk so you need permission first. In season you can also visit the innovative conservation projects run on this property by the Taiko Trust.
Take a snack at rest down at the coast, its beautiful.

Great drive to the south coast to the Tuku reserve , they have done great work with the wood pigeon, but the baby albatrosses stole my heart, if they are still sitting on their buckets, take note of the number, you will end up sponsoring and naming it, and for the next 5 years follow his flight , helps to explain to work which one they have brought,
Amazing to sit a few feet away from them and watch them being fed, tried to work out how much food they need before they fly off, got to about a ton most of which has to be shipped in .high light of my trip apart from the wonderful people
