We took the funivia up to see family I hadn't seen in over 40 years in the rain. My cousin worked it for that many years and at one time it was the only way to get up and down. On the way down it stopped. Up high in the fog was scary but they used the intercom to advise us they knew we were in the gondola. A power failure shut it down and after some time we came down very slowly using a back up system. It's quite high but offers an incredible view and once up too there is short walks to hotels and polenta and strudel…

We got the top of the climb during 5 minutes(for 6.5€ return) We strolled on the top around the walkway. It was nice to enjoy the view at the different look out.

We loved this gondola ride up the mountainside. Lovely views of the valley! But if you are afraid of heights, don't look out the windows, its a big drop! Hard to think they fit 7 people in the wagon, we were just three and it felt small enough. Totally worth the 6.5 Euro.
