Escape the city to Mettam's Pool. You'll very quickly forget where you are. Sitting below the busy West Coast Highway, you'll be one of the few people relaxing on a pristine white beach. In the summer the water is glassy. Bring a snorkel and catch...More

We love heading down to Mettams Pool, the water is always clean and the beach is somewhat sheltered. Take your snorkle and some flippers as there is lots of cool rock pools to explore under the water

Had a great time at Mettam's Pool, Perth. Great place to snorkel or to learn to snorkel. Safe natural large pool and for experienced snorkellers, a deep drop off from the ledge of the reef. Western buffalo drummers, Pomfreys, red lipped morwong, yellow box fish,...More

I have been swimming and sun baking at Mettams Pool for over 30 years, it is a lovely small protected beach. The reef is amazing for snorkeling with lots of varieties of fish.

In calm waters, this is a good spot to begin snorkelling and to practice moving about a reef. Do wear some reef shoes as rocks are abundant which is good because then fish are abundant too hiding amongst the rocks.

Mettam's Pool is a great little spot, if you can get down there during the week you won't have as much trouble with parking.
