Our 9 yr old started the radiation one birthday, we get fish’n’chips from local C7 Seafoods and drive up the mountain to perch on the stone wall and watch the sun go down over the Bris skyline. Low tech family fun. It can get a...More

Went up to the lookout to enjoy the sunset and view of the city and was not disappointed! You can bring your own chair or sit on a bench. There's a cafe up there too. Haven't tried it though.

Back home we’d call it a hill...of the size one would eat for breakfast. But here, anything taller than a snowman on a summer’s day is a mountain. Joking aside, I didn’t really know where it was until I happened to be on Logan Road...More

Lovely feel in the cafe with a nice view from the south of Brisbane. Pleasant service, clean amenities and disabled parking available. Glad we went and will gladly take visitors to visit.

Drove up to the top to check out views. Area was small and only one section has good views. Prefer Mt Cootha lookout as more panoramic and spacious. However, cafe is facing nice section but was closed. Would come back again to try the cafe...More

A popular and free lookout, taking in views of Brisbane, western suburbs and the bayside (east). There are some walks to do around the top (and a small playground for the kids). You can also park at the bottom and walk up! There is a...More

Mt Gravatt Lookout is set in Toohey Forest bush land with great views to the city, Gateway Bridge and and Mt Coot-tha. It is relatively unspoilt and popular with locals (who usually walk to the summit along the bush tracks) and visitors (who drive). Don't...More

Mount Gravatt lookout café provides a panoramic view and inexpensive menu. Service was good and fast, The car park can be busy and the road to the look out is narrow and care is need.

Technically no. They close the gates so cars can't get through but if you wanted to, you could still walk through. I wouldn't recommend it though as it is dark and slippery.
