We took our 2year old grandson to Moonlit Sanctuary last Saturday. I hadn't been before and was very impressed by the friendly staff, conditions for the animals, the layout and the variety of animals to view. From the young man at the front desk and...More

From outside the park doesn't look special, but looks can be deceiving. First thing I noticed is the passion the staff had towards the animals, and their jobs. The park is kept immaculately clean and green. A Koala encounter started from $20 to $120 for an encounter...More

Thanks for your review. The commitment of our staff is something we value highly. And yes, we are a great stop on the way to Phillip Island!

We visited this on a tour, a few days after going to Featherdale in the NSW. By contrast, this park is a bit smaller and rustic, but the animals are more accessible. We had Kangaroos and Wallabies coming up and eating out of our hands...More

Thanks for your review. We are happy you enjoyed the interaction with the animals, a very important part of the Moonlit Sanctuary experience. All the ducks and geese are wild, they just know a good thing!

We took our grandson to this sanctuary. The moonlight tour was too late for a young child with school the following day, but we enjoyed a fascinating afternoon amongst the animals and birds , all of which were obviously well cared for and housed in...More

We had used the services of a private day touring company called Posh Penguins who I can’t rate highly enough. (Great for couples in particular). They brought us to the unassuming park. From the outside and the local area it doesn’t look like much, but...More

This is definitely a high valued tour considering its fee. With only AUD50, we got an evening lantern light tour with a guide as well as free entrance to the park in the daytime. If you fancy a few snapshots with the wildlife animals under...More

Thanks for your review. Evening visitors can come in free of charge during the daytime on the same day. This is a great opportunity, as it gives you the chance to see some of presentations and of course our birds and reptiles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour tour (8:30-10:30pm) to see the nocturnal animals. So much so that we’d like to come back to this sanctuary during the day to see different species. We were fortunate that we were only four people on the tour that...More

Best part in our stay in the Land Down Under. We've fed deer in Nara, Japan and giraffes in Calauit Island in Palawan back home and hand-feeding kangaroos so far is the best. They're gentle and nice but beware they can also outbox and outmatch...More
