This is a must do drive to watch the sunset when in Perth. Narrow one way road so be careful around the hairpin turns. Unfortunately pushbikes were going the wrong way

Cycling down this zig zag, and old railway track, brings great city views and valley vistas. Sunsets are awesome from certain bends, and there is car parking for you to enjoy the spectacle.

Definitely yes the road is bitumen all the way and the view at sunset is amazing. There are a few roos around at dusk but there is a 40 km speed limit, so take care.
