Our tranquil gardens surround Kareela the old Archbishop's holiday home in Gooseberry Hill, built in 1915. The garden has hundreds of field rose bushes with most of the rose bushes have their own individual plaques allowing visitors to identify those roses they would like in their own gardens. Come walk through our rose gardens and experience wonderful aromas and perfumes of roses. We are open on Sundays from 10am to 4:30pm and Monday to Saturday by appointment for tours & groups. Wheelchair access is available.

Mostly ramps and lawn so should be fine..looked lovely to day but will be gorgeous in about two weeks...Lovely lady very knowledgeable, friendly staff and great scones... I ate half the Cornish way and half the Devon way and both good.
