Good small museum with some nice exhibits. Some understanding of German is required to fully appreciate the museum as there are no translations into other languages; perhaps a smart phone app could address this. Also, I would have like to have seen a little more...More

Walking around the Island we saw these pretty colourful cottages & curious we went closer to find the Helgoland Museum. Tickets were priced at 9 Euros per head. Each of the cottages had items on display & am sure they covered the history of Helgoland...More

We didn't visit the museum, but we took the bunker tour - very interesting, heart wrenching, history at its finest.
