No matter what the weather, this is a great place to walk or bike. Great view, clean air and lost of places to stop and enjoy a glass of wine.

With good weather, there is no better place to be. The beach as well as the water is clean and there are two little roads, one for pedestrians and one for bikes. So you don't have to be afraid about getting in someones way.

Nice walk along the beach from the harbour until the north beach. you pass along famous and old buildings like the Giftbude, Marienhoehe, Milchbar and Januskopf until you reach Cafe Cornelius which has been there for many years .

Stayed for a week in a top floor apartment overlooking the "Strandpromenade" awesome all round views more-so in stormy weather. Norderney was my favourite of all the islands until I discovered Amrum.
