The old town has its own charm!..it's beautiful to walk along the street surrounded with good old buildings, restaurant's and cafe. The statue of the Pied Piper is also seen here in this street.

The center of Hameln is small, with lots of old beautifully maintained houses. Too bad the shops are not open on Sundays. There was not much to do, besides eating and drinking. The town is flooded with the legend of the Rattenfanger.

Small town but wonderful sight and it’s the birth place of the famous Pied Piper. As a foreign visitor, its almost unbelievable that the town thrives on the tale with museums, day tours and souvenirs dedicated to the tale. Lovely place to stroll and relax....More

The buildings in the area have a very specific type of archtecture. Theres plenty of bars and cafés to grab a seat. Spaghetti ice cream is particularly nice!!!
