The center of Hameln is small, with lots of old beautifully maintained houses. Too bad the shops are not open on Sundays. There was not much to do, besides eating and drinking. The town is flooded with the legend of the Rattenfanger.
Have to admit that we visited on a day when Hameln was celebrating a music weekend and also had a “Pied Piper” play being enacted in the town square so not only did we appreciated the old buildings but had a great time watching the...More
