It takes about 20 minutes to get to the top of the ski lift but worth it for the views. Use your free tourist pass.

We took the Untenberg chairlift twice during our week in Ruhpolding. There was no charge as free with the Extra card - a brilliant gift for visitors. The chairlift is manned at both ends so easy for first-timers. It was idyllic being transported almost silently...More
