Undoubtedly, a splendid place of display by internationally acclaimed architects; Tadao, Gehry, Zaha and Herzog de Meuron. One feels blessed to witness their works under one roof. I personally admire Tadao, who has fully done justice with the design and landscape surrounding th9s whole complex.

The entire campus is design nirvana - the least interesting thing was the exhibit in the Vitra museum itself; of course the actual museum is beautiful. I loved the slide and the Vitra Haus. The only thing I wanted was a much better gift shop...More
Took the tram over from Basel just as the place was opening it’s doors. I went for the night club exhibit. It didn’t disappoint. Had a lovely coffee and pretzel in the cafe and the gift shop was loaded with great items. I would return!
It all started with the legendary share of Charles Eames. The house shows the different variations of furniture for office or home use, all with a special look and some price tags that leave you speechless. Restaurant offers a great selection of menues and desserts.
