Schloss Scoenburg, the old castle on top of the hill, has been renovated into luxury hotel accommodation. It has a prime location overlooking River Rhine and Oberwesel. We passed by the area during our river cruise trip there.

The hotel is like a fairy tale. Everything was perfect! The staff, the service, our room, the food was amazing. Attention to all details. Great views of Oberwesel and the Rhein river.

A beautiful castle overlooking the A Rhine. Built in 1149 . Was changed and building took place throughout history. Today hosts a beautiful hotel and a small museum illustrating the issue of castles on Rhine.
