Don't bother checking out the interior unless you plan to stop for a bite at one of the restaurants. It's a lovely feature as part of a landscape photo, but it's quite bare bones inside.

We took the boat to the church and the ride was fantastic. The echo of the trumpet in the middle of the lake was fascinating. Koenigssee had lovely restaurants around the lake and the fish was delicious

It was a wonderful, easy, peaceful outing surrounded by amazing mountains and greenery, I spent 3 hours just walking around the woods, looking at the lake and just drink in the serenity of this place. Simply beautiful!

Worth to step out from the ferry on the ride to the other side of Köningsee. Although nothing special to do except visiting the church and having a snack or drink in the cafes beside.

We saw St.Bartholomew´s Church on the boat trip by Lake Koenigs See. It was a nice experience, also a shorter walk through the woods around the church.

The main reason I went to Konigsee was the hiking so St. Bartholomew's Church was more of a passing sight than a main visit. It is cool to see as you approach in the boat, but there is not much to see inside of it...More

We understand that the winter is over and spring hasn't begun but the service and enthusiasm was pretty poor up here. One you are in the boats you are a captive market. I'd suggest bringing your own lunch and drinks.

Surrounded by snow capped mountains and frozen water when I was there, it's pretty. White snow on the ground, it's very picturesque and cold.

Well this is quite a surprising church... You're on a Ferry on Konigssee, on your way to the other side of this beautiful lake for a walk along the banks of the Obersee and farther to a fall... And suddenly you see far on the...More
