This is one of the most stunning lakes I have ever seen: particularly from 1000 m above it at a vista point. I also swam in it and found it to be surprisingly warm (it is late September).

Yes . You certainly don’t need to pre book any rides for the lake . You have two options - go until st bartholomew or go until the end of the lake and do a nice walk . The last ferry goes back at 6 pm I think
