Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Church though located on Martin Luther square is named after another Martin. In honor of the local Saint, executed in the VIII century, when Memmingen was not yet. The 65-meter bell tower of the Church is the tallest structure in the city. This Church is the oldest not only in Memmingen, but in the whole of upper Swabia. It was completed in 1500 right at the beginning of the reformation. Memmingen supported the Lutherans, who made the Church their stronghold.

The inside of the church is definitely worth a visit.
It’s beautiful and it’s lovely to see the artistic influences from different eras.

The main attractions in this church are the Baroque chancel, the modern organs and the choir stalls dating from 1507 - the work of local craftsmen and some of the most impressive in southern Germany.

The church holds regular free organ concerts that are quite impressive. And the interior of the church is beautifully painted and welcoming.

Bavaria is mostly Roman Catholic. St. Martin's is a Lutheran (Evangelical) church that is very old and quite beautiful inside. It is worth a stop and will take you only a few minutes.

The best 2euros per adult spent. We got a tour of the tower only by a German speaking guide though he did try to inform us of certain points. Also an overview guide sheet to read. You must be able to climb over 200 steps up then down. It is done in stages to see the floors, bells, clock workings watch keepers accommodation and go out onto the balconies to get amazing views of the surrounding areas depending on weather. Not sure how long into the year it will be open for.
