Nice place to visit on a pleasant fall day. Very few people around which made it very relaxing to explore. Info booklets are available in many languages at the front desk for 1 Euro, definitely worth the coin since there is little info throughout the...More

A short walk from the town centre and about a 20 minute walk from the train station, this museum is a fantastic day out, especially in good weather. The descriptions of the houses are in English and German and you can also buy a guide...More

We spent a day at the Fränkisches Freilandsmuseum and loved it! If you like vegetables and fruit being growed there, you can see all of the varieties that they have and they also sell items grown there. They have an on-site brewery and you can...More

The Fraenkische Freilandmuseum is really a fun and informational place to visit. The place is huge and features an entire re-created village consisting of fully furnished farm houses, shops and a brewery. I loved seeing the antique tools, kitchen utensils, and how people lived way...More
