Bamberg has one of the best preserved Old Towns I have seen in my 4 trips to Germany. The winding streets have a surprise around every corner, some times the surprise is a black BMW driven with gay abandon along the cobbled streets. There many pedestrian...More

Place is historical and very beautiful! It’s located right inside the city and after you see this you can walk around and there’s plenty to do!

Small but beautiful old town. However, very crowded, specially on the weekends. Stroll along the river and enjoy the view over the big city.

With the Old Residents/old town and its Dom. One of the most prettiest sightseeing towns there is. Romance, kind people, good food everywhere and the blue and brown houses on the city center What else? Nothing! Just go and enjoy!! I love Bamberg

Bamberg is a beautiful town and the Altes Rathaus on the island is just amazing. You can get a great view of it from the wooden bridge (this is where the photos are always taken from). Great pubs, beautiful church, wonderful to just wander around.

We took a four hours walk around the town. Lots of beautiful buildings and bridges with histories. Must visit the Old City Hall which is built in the middle of the river, on an artificial island.
