Amazing group of constructions in the center of historic city provided us a salt to breath and a lot of fun to try to figure it out how they work. Very friendly staff in the Tourist Center nearby.

This is one of the most interesting group of structures we have seen. Used now to help those with rheumatic or respiratory conditions, but initially to extract salt Very beautiful and well spaced out in the centre of town.

Visited for health effects of inhalation therapy. Interesting to see how they extract salt through use of wooden boughs of trees. We went to the inhalation as recommended. Good experience.

Completely unique spa system use spa salted water flows down on the frame with little twig for better evaporation and creates the unique conditions for intensive inhalation and treatment of the respirátory troubles

enjoyed a very nice relaxing 15 Mins in the fog room as I would call it, outside it was 26 °C inside a very cool 20°C if that. Who ever built this certainly knew what the was doing.

One of the landmarks of the tourist area of the town, these are multistory towers that concentrate brine drawn up from below the town. The towers (which stretch for hundreds of feet) concentrate the salts, which is the founding industry of Bad Salzuflen. You can...More
