Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I recently moved to Sindelfingen. We have enjoyed our first month walking around this enchanting city. The main Protestant church here is Saint Martin's. He, of course, is known for cutting his cloak in half and giving it to someone without one. The church is beautiful on the outside. Apparently, it is only opened on Sundays so we will have to come back to see the inside.

The Martinskirche Church is a lovely place to visit. It is the main Protestant church in Sindelfingen and one of the oldest churches in Baden-Württemberg. The Romanesque tower is 42 meters high and the ceiling inside is 900 years old. It is made from pine and has been preserved all these years. The paintings on the ceiling were added in 1933. There is also a nice collection of bell ringers on the back wall.
It’s a beautiful church worth checking out. They are only open on Sundays. We managed to get a look after the service.

I went there late at night after 21:00 and was able to walk around the church and see the building from the outside. The architecture is great and you can see the church building is very old. At night they have a light that eliminate the church building. Its worth your while to go and visit.

Neat architecture of an old historic building. Would be helpful to have some signs in English, so do your research before you come. Nice place to walk around though.

One of the must visit places when in sindelfingen. Known for its decorated west side gate and exterior architecture, Martinskirche is equally peaceful and tanquill from the inside.

I visited the church on a rainy Wednesday morning, and having roamed around the outside taking in the various aspects of this lovely and ancient church, I went in. I spent about half an hour looking around the church, but additionally just sitting and enjoying the peace of it's interior. With my downloaded (and translated) history I was able to identify the various ages of the church. It is a delightful place to visit, no matter your belief. Sites such as this have been the centre of their communities for so many centuries they should be celebrated whenever possible. Make sure you take a look at the fabulous West Door (red and decorated). Martinskirche is a real treasure.

While the church tower and some of the windows are not Romenesque, the rest of the church is a beautiful example. Be sure to check out the main door on the west side of the building.
