The gardens were beautiful, but we came specifically for the pumpkin festival. We were not disappointed. The displays were wonderful and the food was great, especially the pumpkin soup and pumpkin waffles.

This wonderful park around the Ludwigsburg castle is a sight to see at any time of the year, but when the carved pumpkins are on display it is a must-see.

The baroque gardens are huge and absolutely gorgeous, should not be missed when in Ludwigsburg. There is also a fairy tale garden part for those with children. But probably the best time to visit is during the annual pumpkin festival which is great fun for...More

A must must must. Take your time and stroll the huge gardens. Lots of ponds, hidden little caves, and paths.

The garden around the castle is a must see! The entrance fee of EUR 6 (adult) is not cheap but its worth every EUR. Take some time. Behind every corner it opens to anouther trmendous view and large garden.
