Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great to visit somewhere different but it only takes about 10 minutes to go around. This season’s theme is sports and there are some impressive sculptures. We took grandparents up and they loved the views from outside of the grotto too.

We were advised to visit here by our tour reps.
Took the lift up and down as my children wouldn't have been able to ski the red run to get down the first section.
Only cost 5 Euro for adult and 4 Euro for children which is very reasonably priced.
The sculptures were great and I am told that they change every year.
Was smaller than expected but still a great way to escape the slopes for 15-20 minutes.

Take the DMC gondola and you will find this little gem. It’s truly unbelievable how creative people can be with just snow and ice. On your day off from skiing this is genuinely a worthwhile experience

Discovering how they created the caves and then invited artists was fascinating, The carvings were fun and the theme uplifting

Really interesting attraction. Definitely worth a visit, if only for some excellent photo opportunities!

I recommend you to visit this place if the weather is not ideal for skiing or you are tired and need some rest. Sculptures are good and interesting. Worth its price (5.5 EUR for adults).Cons: you cannot pay by card :( In general: nothing special, just a 5-min-long exhibition.

The ice grotto is a premanent feature. The ticket lady informed us that each year there is a different theme carved into the snow and ice. This year it was Carousel or fun fair.
There is clever use of lighting to show off the sculptures.
However careful with the flash on your camera as it can take some of the definitionand contrast from the image you take

Been coming to ADH for 13+years and can't believe we have never been. Went today, and were totally amazing by how good and detailed the sculptures are. Cheap to get in too. A must do activity if you're coming to ADH x

Right at the top of DMC 2 a great ice cave is created every year. Very clever how this is made and some beautiful carvings inside only 5€ per person so really worth a visit.

We took our two young children here and they loved it. We likened it to bring in a giant igloo which our children found fascinating. Very pretty with special lighting and well laid out paths. We found it very reasonable at only 20 euros for a family of four and a unique experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Bonjour
