Couldn't be easier. Fuss free quick boarding. We were booked on 2315hrs ferry but arrived 2 hours early to be just directed straight onto the next ferry. Really good work P & O.

Yes you will need to get a taxi, it is only a 5 minute journey, but too far to walk with cases. Taxis are usually waiting at the arrivals in Calais port for you
